Topics: In this episode, we return to Vigalzano, a FEM peripheral center in Pergine Valsugana specializing in small fruits with research, experimentation, and consultancy activities (the previous episode focused on small fruit experimentation and consultancy). Here, we explore scientific research activities on small fruits, particularly blueberries. The episode covers the germplasm collection, which includes around one hundred blueberry varieties from around the world, the key parameters guiding research activities, new conservation techniques under study, and methods for measuring fruit firmness.
