The Edmund Mach Foundation (FEM) will have a strong presence among the key players at WeMakeFuture (WMF) in Bologna, the international fair for technological and digital innovation. On Friday, June 26th, the Foundation will be represented both at an institutional level and in scientific research.
Opening the day's events from 10:40 AM to 11:20 AM at MALL - Stage 35, General Director Riccardo Velasco will take part in the Made in Italy Futures track, joining the panel discussion titled "Policies and institutions for Italian agritech". This high-level debate will see the DG discussing the future of agricultural technologies alongside representatives from ENEA, Fondazione Agritech / PRIMA, and Rete N.A.I.
Later in the day, researcher Silvia Silvestri will participate, by invitation, in the prestigious Intercluster Roundtable on Bioeconomy, a crucial meeting for leading national figures from research and industry to map out the future of the circular bioeconomy in Italy.
This double participation highlights the prominent national role that FEM plays both in shaping policies for agritech and in developing sustainable solutions to support technological transfer and the ecological transition.
