FIRS&gt,T, the PhD Research School established at CRI-FEM in 2012, offers aunique research opportunity to outstanding international graduates.Selected candidates will choose between projects in basic and appliedresearch, operate in an international working environment (90students, 31 countries, multi-cultural research groups), and access tostate-of-the-art technologies. The extensive network of internationalcollaborations encourages student mobility and provides them withopportunities to develop their research at top internationallaboratories.The ScholarshipThe successful candidates will receive a stipend of 20.000 Euro peryear (before tax), up to 10.000 Euro/year toward travel expensesassociated with visiting partner institutions, and coverage ofUniversity registration fees. The duration is 3 years, with thepossibility of extending it for a further 12 months.ApplicationsTalented and motivated candidates who have, or are expecting to obtaina Master or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the researchundertaken within CRI-FEM, are invited to submit their applicationon-line (from September 5 to September 26). Applicants are invited toindicate preferred research projects from the available projects listEach project has been developed as a collaboration between CRI-FEM anda partner institution and at least one year of the PhD scholarshipwill be spent at the partner institute.
