The Province of Trento has recently funded an incoming team project entitled ‘Worms and germs’: an ecological approach to understanding how gut bacteria (microbiome) interact with the parasitic helminths (macrobiome), or ECOBIOME. Within this larger study, the Post-doctoral scientist will use a host-parasite model (wild rodents - gut microbiome - intestinal worms) to conduct collaborative research on the microbiome of helminths in the gut of wild rodents (both pathogenic and non-pathogenic components).Please read the position details to understand if you are eligible for the position.
